Friday, 1/27/2012 – The EPA and all the contractors and people working on the West Oakland Lead Remediation project threw a party for little Claire (in pink), daughter of Katy Diamantidis who works on the project. Claire is being treated for ALL, a children’s Leukemia and the group got together to cheer her up.

There will be an “Open House” on Saturday, January 28, 2012 from 1 – 4 PM at the Field Office.
Please come by if you’d like more info on not only the lead cleanup but the free house-painting programs that we are encouraging people to take advantage of if their homes still have lead-based paint.
As always, this will be a child-friendly event and all are welcome!
